Scott Erker, Ph.D.

Scott Erker is a multi-disciplinary leader responsible for DDI’s U.S. operations, Global Strategic Partnerships program, and manufacturing vertical strategy. Scott developed his global perspective on talent management from working with organizations through consulting and product line management roles and expatriate assignments in Europe and Australia.

  • Provides thought leadership on talent management issues including competency management, talent acquisition, performance management, leadership development, succession management, and talent management analytics.
  • Serves as the executive sponsor for client partners. In this capacity, Scott provides consulting and change management expertise.
  • Advises around the creation of new DDI products, including their business impact and introduction to the marketplace.

Education and Credentials

  • Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Akron
  • Member, American Psychological Association
  • Member, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology

Recent Projects

  • Designed a global assessment strategy governance program for a large, multinational pharmaceutical organization.
  • Designed and implemented an organization-wide success profile/competency framework with the goal of driving strategy and talent management alignment for a large media organization.
  • Built and launched a Talent Acquisition Analytics framework to be implemented as a method for continuously improving the talent acquisition function through data, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Served as executive sponsor for a large health care organization as it transitioned from being a software developer to a software consulting organization.
  • Acted as executive sponsor for a large automobile manufacturing organization as it started up a large facility in the southeast of the United States.
  • Implemented an executive-level 360 degree feedback survey for the CEO of a large bank.
