Christy Innes is a thought leader, a catalyst for positive change, and a passionate, enthusiastic believer in growing leadership capability from within an organization.
She is the Senior Manager of Enterprise Learning for BC Hydro (a Crown Corporation that generates, purchases, and sells electricity to service 1.9 million customers in the province of British Columbia.)
She has worked in the telecommunications, sports and leisure, customer service, marketing, and energy industries. In her role, she is responsible for leadership programs, professional and career development, mentoring, internal coaching programs, training content and delivery, employee orientation, goal setting, safety training, business application and systems support, and enterprise training and development projects. She is a member of the Institute for Performance and Learning, Human Resources Management Association, B.C. Organizational Development Network, Society for Human Resources Management, and currently leads a team of highly engaged and knowledgeable professionals.
Ms. Innes is passionate about leadership and the parallels between leadership in business and leadership in sport. She serves as a Board member for two non-profit community sport organizations and is a dedicated wife and mom of two very active, high performing young athletes.
