George is the Americas Leader for People Advisory Services at EY and leads an incredible group of professionals across the Americas. He has over 28 years of international experience, vast knowledge of EY's integrated Human Capital offerings, significant client service success, and a deep commitment to EY's people.
Within People Advisory Services, George focuses on Global Transaction work, often engaging across due diligence, negotiations, day one and post-merger integration to ensure both the effective design and adoption/execution of high-visibility, high-impact programs, including: HR Service Delivery, Talent Strategy and Management Programs, Total Compensation Systems, HR Talent Strategy & Design, and HR Cost Reduction & Synergy Strategy.
George has overseen over 560 country transitions in the past several years and has worked extensively representing buyers and sellers on cross-border and multi-cultural transactions. Prior clients span many industries, (e.g., Consumer Products, Energy, Oil & Gas, Retail, Hospitality, Transportation, Professional Services, and Health/Biotech) and sectors (public, private, not-for-private). Clients he has personally served throughout his consultative career include Lenova, IBM, Daimler, Blackrock, P&G, Caterpillar, Covidien, GM, HP, ITT, Kellogg's, Kodak, Google, Pfizer, MDP, Schlumberger, Stanley Black & Decker, and more.
In his prior role, George was the global leader of the EY TAS Human Capital team, as well as the Human Capital Talent & Reward Leader for the Northeast Region (sub-Area). He advised companies through some of the world's largest and most complex global transactions. George developed the EY methodology for global carve out transactions (buy and sell side).
George graduated with honors from Canisius College with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in accounting and cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Faculty of Law of Jurisprudence, with a Juris Doctor Degree.
He is a member of the New York Bar is is a Certified Public Accountant.
