Women and Leadership: Ignite Your Strengths
DDI recently sponsored the Women, Management and Work conference at the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney CBD. The conference titled Women and Leadership: Ignite Your Strengths was focused on how to be a more effective leader and discussions centred on women highlighting their strengths and what they can bring to their leadership positions. Inspirational speakers of note in executive and business leadership positions were Dr Fiona Wood; Head of Royal Perth Hospital Burn Unit, Andrea Culligan; Managing Director, Unimail and 2009 Telstra Businesswoman of the Year and Lynelle Briggs; CEO of Medicare.
We Do That. Many of the challenges that the delegates faced and the skills that were sought after for leadership roles - all involved essential communication skills and concepts that DDI can provide. This confirms that what DDI does is relevant and important for leaders in today’s marketplace.
