Managing Director of DDI Canada
Sylvie Ste-Marie is the Managing Director for DDI Canadian Operations. In this capacity, she also heads up the Canadian sales and business development.
Sylvie works with clients to address a broad range of talent management issues and solutions, including selection, assessment, development and retention. Some of the companies that she has partnered with include: Canadian Rail, IBM, Business Development Bank of Canada, ADP, Hertz, Avon, Bombardier, and Pratt & Whitney.
For the past 7 years, she has worked with DDI sales teams in Canada and the US Northeast. As the business development manager for DDI Canada, Sylvie grew the business over 91 percent over 4 years. She also spearheaded the opening of the New York Executive Acceleration Center in 2005 which supported 50 percent growth in 3 years to DDI’s New York market.
Thought Leadership
Sylvie understands talent management trends and issues. She played a key role in developing a recent workshop around Global Execution, conducted in the New York market. Most recently, she has been sharing the findings from DDI’s 2011 Global Leadership Forecast as well as being interviewed by the Globe & Mail regarding her perspective the state of leadership in Canada. Innovation is also a key topic area for Sylvie. She led a networking session at the 2010 World Business Forum where participants examined how innovation could be incorporated into talent strategies.

- Vice-President of Eastern operations for a well-known temporary personnel provider, growing its outsourcing and general operations by 39 percent within a year
