DDI Recognized on the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette ‘Top Workplaces’ List for 2011

DDI ranked #6 in this year’s competition
Pittsburgh, PA – Oct. 6, 2011— Development Dimensions International, Inc. (DDI) proudly announces a #6 placement among mid-size companies the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Top Workplaces list for this year. This honor recognizes DDI as one of the best places to work in the Pittsburgh area.

Each year, 28 of the leading publishers in the United States, among those is the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, partner with Top Workplaces to produce their regional Top Workplaces lists. Companies included in this list have been selected following an extensive survey of their employees. Only the companies that are rated ‘best companies’ are featured.

More than 150 companies participated in the program this year and among those 42 were selected as Top Mid-Size Companies in 2011, DDI ranking #6 among that group. In addition, DDI won a special award as the #1 workplace for employees who feel that their employer informs them about important decisions.

“DDI’s most valuable asset is our employees—so we’re thrilled that our associates know how valuable they are to the company,” Bob Rogers, President of DDI, said. “It’s our associates that make DDI such a great place to come to work every day, so this award is an honor shared by all of us.”

The evaluation for the Top Workplaces program is based upon feedback from a 24-question employee survey that looks at direction, execution, career, conditions, managers, and pay and benefits. Employees are also asked to provide comments about their companies that are later published.

Companies featured on this list are recognized for having an inclusive approach which allows them to operate more innovatively, ethically and serve customers better.
