Byham International Women’s Day Supports a Great Cause

DDI’s celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th resonated with women and men around the world, thanks to DDI CEO Tacy Byham’s virtual keynote, #LeadLikeAGirl: How Women Leaders Ignite Impact keynote.

Tacy Byham, Ph.D.In the keynote, Byham made the business and financial case for why organizations need more women in leadership. She also explored the most pressing issues holding women back in the workforce, which are more deeply addressed in DDI’s new Ignite Your Impact: Women in LeadershipSM practice.

In total, more than 500 people viewed the virtual keynote. DDI was proud to donate all proceeds from the webinar—which totaled more than $3,500—to support our nonprofit partner, Room to Read, which focuses on improving literacy and girls’ education in many of the most underserved parts of the world. Our donation directly supported Room to Read’s Girls’ Education Program to ensure that girls complete secondary school and learn the necessary skills to make informed, independent decisions about how to lead their lives.
