When it comes to Talent Management, we strive for nothing short of excellence in everything we do. So we were thrilled when several recent awards recognized our people, clients and investment in product development.

Top HR Product of the Year: Manager Ready®
First, our new breakthrough frontline leader assessment, Manager Ready®, received the 2011 Top HR Product of the Year award at the HR Technology Conference. Presented by Human Resource Executive® (HRE) magazine, the award recognizes new HR and training products based on innovation, ease of use and impact on the HR industry. Here’s just some of what the judges had to say about it:
“Unlike most of the video training and assessment products on the market that offer multiple-choice interactions, Manager Ready demands its participants make quick decisions and demonstrate real leadership by acting upon those decisions in the form of email communications. It's as close to the real experience of being thrust into a manager's role to sink or swim as anything else we've seen.” Read more from HRE.
Learning in Practice Awards for Excellence in E-learning: DDI’s Virtual Classroom
Later in the month, DDI’s Virtual Classroom capability was recognized as a silver place winner of the Chief Learning Officer’s Learning in Practice Awards for Excellence in E-learning. This award was designed to recognize a provider that has recently rolled out an innovative and effective e-learning program for a client. In this case, it was DDI’s work with Nissan on global leadership development for high-potential supervisors located in over 25 countries. Best Place to Work: DDI
Our own people and culture received two distinguished awards for workplace excellence. On the national level, we claimed the #5 spot on The Great Place to Work® Rankings: 2011 Best Small & Medium Workplaces Presented by Entrepreneur®. This annual list recognizes companies that have exceptional workplace cultures and contenders go through a rigorous evaluation, including an in-depth survey of employees. This is the third consecutive year that DDI has placed in the top 10. Our second workplace award came from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette who ranked DDI the sixth best place to work in Pittsburgh, home of DDI’s global headquarters.
All of this was made possible through the hard work of our associates, who make it their mission to uphold the standards of excellence that our clients expect from DDI.
