Holding Women Back: Why gender still matters on today’s career ladder

Women have spent years trying to level the playing field in the workplace and in leadership roles, but are still under-represented at the executive level. The 2008/2009 Leadership Forecast revealed some interesting trends about what keeps women out of the corner office—including the fact that the deck is stacked against women from early in their careers when they aren’t on the same development track as their male peers.
