In their recent study, High-Impact Leadership Development: Trends, Best Practices, and Industry Solutions. Bersin & Associates* recognized DDI as a top leadership development provider. The study covered all aspects of leadership development and evaluated a number of HR consultancies. The study was based on surveys of almost 800 companies. It also included 40 in-depth interviews with managers responsible for leadership development, and briefings with 14 leadership development providers.

The study recognized DDI for a wide range of strengths, including its ability to support global enterprises with an expansive content library, available in multiple languages and customized for different business cultures. DDI’s associated delivery and administrative services (see Figure below) were also strengths. The study noted DDI’s breadth of offerings, including custom content, coaching, facilitation, train-the-trainer, and assessments, as well as services in the areas of recruiting, performance management and succession planning.

Market segments are defined as follows:

  • Global organizations have more than 10,000 employees located in more than one country.
  • The enterprise segment includes organizations with up to 10,000 employees who are primarily located and managed in one country.
  • The midmarket segment includes organizations with 5,000 or fewer employees.
