Anna-Maria Rose

Senior Consultant and Executive Coach

Anna-Maria Rose has over 20 years’ experience in the areas of succession management, executive assessment, development, and coaching, and has worked with companies around the world in industries such as manufacturing, technology, financial, pharmaceutical, and energy. From 2007-2013, Anna Maria lived and worked for DDI in Germany, China, and the UK successively. This international exposure deepened the knowledge she had already gained as an expert in talent management solutions and their implications for multinational organizations.

Over the course of her career, Anna-Maria has been involved with both small- and large-scale leadership assessment and development programs for both public and private organizations. She has developed Success ProfilesSM for the roles of leaders at various levels, and she has designed and delivered learning journeys for executive development. Anna-Maria regularly participates in short and long-term coaching engagements across varied industries. She is known for the challenging yet warm and engaging style with which she invites senior leaders to align their leadership styles to drive their specific business and cultural objectives. She has provided personal feedback and coaching to executives and leaders around the world, and consulted with organizations such as Walmart, Halliburton, TAQA, Xstrata, Henkel, Prudential Assurance, and Panasonic to enhance their leaders’ effectiveness.

Key Capabilities and Experience

Anna-Maria has consulted in the U.S., Europe, and Asia with multinational organizations such as Prudential, BNY Mellon, Express Scripts, Evonik, Merck KgaA, and Parker Hannifin. The following examples highlight her international experience:

  • UK. Consulted with an energy organization headquartered in the UK to design and implement a global, multilevel development program targeted at first-line and mid-level leaders. Served as the lead project manager and consulted with client on a large-scale, global leadership development project. A cohort of high-potential participants was guided toward accelerated development through a multifaceted program that included in-depth assessment and engaged internal and external partners, stakeholders, and activities.
  • China. Led the talent audit for a major organization to determine readiness for key C-level positions. She guided the client through all phases of the process and delivered the results to key senior leaders to support the placement of leaders and creation of development plans to support their success. Served as the lead consultant for a large pharmaceutical organization based in the U.S. seeking to create new business in China.
  • Germany. Consulted with a German technology organization to design and implement a large-scale development assessment program for 350 managers. The solution had to comply with Germany’s work council requirements and be acceptable to internal stakeholders.
