DDI's Matt Paese Quoted in Wall Street Journal On How CEO Searches Are Changing In Light of Sexual Harassment Scandals

In the wake of many sexual scandals involving high-profile men who have abused positions of power, boards of directors are becoming more cautious about ensuring that incoming CEOs don't have a history of sexual misconduct.

The Wall Street Journal interviewed DDI's Matt Paese, vice president of succession management and C-suite services, about his experience working with boards of directors that are newly scrutinizing CEOs' misdeeds. Dr. Paese reported that boards are increasingly asking DDI to divulge any signal that there might have been past bad behavior. He noted, hwoever, that psychological evaluations pinpoint leadership capabilities rather than previous improprieties.
