Melissa Debowski

Senior Director, Talent Management for Air Liquide USA

Melissa Debowski is Senior Director, Talent Management for Air Liquide USA, a role she assumed in July 2017.  Melissa and her team are responsible for talent acquisition, including the ALLEX, ALPOP and ALTEP (entry-level, rotational) programs; leadership development, talent planning, employee onboarding and diversity and inclusion.

Prior to joining Air Liquide, Melissa worked at BP where initially she was Director of Leadership Development for the Western Hemisphere responsible for launching a global leadership framework and associated development programs and various diversity & inclusion initiatives.  Her most recent role was as Head of Regions & Learning Services (COE) in the Upstream Business where she managed eight global learning teams and led a three-year change initiative to centralize and standardize petro-technical learning programs, processes, systems and vendors.

Prior to BP, Melissa worked at JPMorgan Chase in roles of increasing responsibility in Human Resources, Leadership Development and Employee and Customer Experience.

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications -TV, Radio, Film, from Southern Methodist University and a Master’s of Education degree from the University of Houston. She lives in Southwest Houston with her husband Steve and dog Lily.
