Rhea is Director for Consulting Services of Development Dimensions International for its Philippine operations. In this capacity, she is responsible for leading the consulting and delivery teams of the different DDI product solutions which include Learning and Development, Selection and Screening, Executive Selection and Assessment, Succession Management, Organizational Measurement and all other consulting services. She also oversees implementation of global DDI projects in the Philippines.
Rhea has been with DDI for more than nine years starting with a project consultant role for Assessment projects and then joining the company full-time as a Business Development Consultant where she managed key client accounts such as Coca-Cola Export Corporation, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Sun Life Insurance and AIG-BPSI.
Aside from her current leadership role, she has also facilitated workshops and learning sessions on succession management, performance management, selection and assessment and talent development for mid-level to senior management groups of various DDI clients including international groups. Her recent projects include managing a Succession Management project for a large utilities company and a leadership development program for a multinational food manufacturing company in the Middle East. She provided guidance and coaching to project managers in leading and delivering strategy planning and execution, engagement surveys, success profiling and leadership development projects.
Rhea has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and Consumer Market Research. Prior to joining DDI, Rhea held specialist and leadership roles in the HRD group of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation, and St. Luke’s College of Medicine, respectively. She developed her expertise in market research while at ACNielsen Philippines, Inc. where she managed and led her teams in conducting quantitative and qualitative research projects for consumer market. The company recognized her achievements and was awarded the ACNielsen’s “Built to Last” Global Art Award for Excellence in Client Servicing in 1998 and 1999.
While pursuing her graduate studies, Rhea was involved in several consulting projects which include competency gap analysis for an oil company, organizational assessment projects for a government organization and academic institution and leadership competency analysis for a telecommunications company. She also worked as a Program Officer and Research Assistant for the Human Resource Center (now Center for Organization Research and Development, or CORD) and the Institute of Philippine Culture, both of the Ateneo de Manila University.
Education and Credentials
Rhea is a candidate for a Master’s Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology at the Ateneo de Manila University. Rhea graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 1994. She is also one of the authors of the book, Extraordinary: Stories for Aspiring Leaders.
