SYDNEY—DDI, the talent management expert, today announced that Mark Busine is appointed as the Managing Director of Australia. This appointment is as a result of Bruce Watt accepting a new role as the Managing Director of Europe with the transition effective from 21 July 2014.
Bruce has contributed much to the rich portfolio of clients and growth of the Australian business. Bruce commenced his career with DDI fourteen years ago as a Senior Consultant, later taking on broader leadership roles such as Business Development Manager and General Manager before being promoted into the Managing Director role in 2004. Under Bruce’s leadership, DDI’s business in Australia has grown from strength to strength, and there is a ready pool of leaders to ensure business continuity.
Mark Busine joined DDI-Asia/Pacific International, Ltd.’s Australian operation in 2002. In 2005, Mark with his exceptional performance, was fast tracked and promoted to General Manager of Melbourne and in 2008 was appointed to the role of Managing Director of DDI’s South East Asian operations. During this time Mark was responsible for managing all aspects of the operations across Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. He was also a member of the DDI Asia executive team.
As the Managing Director of Australia, Mark will be responsible for the creation and implementation of the region's business strategy. Working closely with the Australian market, Mark will continue to provide expert opinion on human resource and talent management strategies, and will assist in ensuring that DDI remains the chief innovator in our field.
