E-Learning is not Behavior Change

Working with clients in ASEAN, we’ve found that most organizations have turned to self-paced online learning. While cost-effective, the feedback hasn't been great. Why? The 70-20-10 Model for Learning and Development still holds irrespective of whether formal learning is face-to-face or online. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that programs based purely on self-paced online coursework (10%) without job-related experiences (70%) and learning from others (20%) will fail to deliver desired impact and results.

In DDI, we believe you need to mix the three components in an integrated journey to sustain growth and achieve behavior change.
