  • In 2018, DDI Malaysia was given the gold award for Best Leadership Development Consultancy by Human Resource Magazine at HR Vendor of the Year.
  • In partnership with Cardinal Health, DDI won a Gold Award for Best Advance in Leadership Development from Brandon Hall Group for the program "Pipeline Approach to Leadership."

  • DDI was also listed in TrainingIndustry.com’s list of the Top 20 Training Outsourcing Companies in 2009, 2008, and 2007. The list is based on corporate competencies in the 25 business processes identified in the Training Process Framework. They also looked at the marketing strategy of each company to determine if training outsourcing was considered to be a core service and evaluated the strength of each company's major clients.

  • Success Profiles: NavigatorSM (SPN), DDI's software tool for creating and updating competency models for various roles in an organization, was selected as one of Human Resource Executive® magazine’s HR products of 2008. The editors wrote that "DDI leads the pack by providing a central hub for all facets of the competency management process, including integration with other talent-management software."
  • Top New Training Product of the Year, Human Resource Executive® magazine (2001, 1998, 1995, 1994)
  • Human Resource Executive® magazine recognized Manager Ready® as one of the Top HR Products of 2011. Each year, the magazine selects the top 10 new HR and training products based on criteria that include innovation, ease of use, and impact on the HR industry. They said, "The quality and believablility of the video scenarios and constantly incoming emails solicit the kind of behavioral responses DDI needs to deliver its charcteristically high-caliber, real-world assessments and reports."
