Audrey Smith, Ph.D.
Audrey Smith, Ph.D., is Principal Partner of DDI's Executive Services. An avid-practitioner, thought-leader, and architect for DDI’s C-suite and succession offerings, she has over 25 years’ experience with boards, CEOs, and executive teams striving for high performance, business transformation, and growth. She and her team have created an extensive range of leadership strategy, assessment, and development offerings to help these organizations shape new futures.
Audrey is known for leading executives to incisive personal and business insights, helping them imagine new possibilities in their unique context. Her extensive experience spans diverse industries across the globe, including manufacturing, healthcare, technology, energy, consumer products, and financial services.
Recent engagements include the on-boarding and accelerated ramp-up for a new CEO of a $4 billion global manufacturing organization, inclusive of helping align his senior team around strategic and cultural transformation. A multi-year engagement began with a division president for a global safety products organization but shifted to transition coaching after he was tapped as the new CEO, with a remit to pivot his organization toward aggressive new growth strategies. Additional examples include partnering with a CXO; leading a customer experience mandate, as well as a turnaround assignment with a mission-critical physician executive for a major academic healthcare institution.
